El artista dominicano Romeo Santos informa que brinda su respeto sincero y desea mucha suerte a todas las personas que desean dedicar sus vidas al servicio público. Pero él no mezcla su música con la política.
Existe en ciber-espacio un anuncio que indica que Romeo apoya la candidatura de Hipólito Mejía.
La foto – que proviene de una sesión de fotos hecha hace más de 6 años, fue utilizada sin la autorización ni el conocimiento del artista.
“Admiro mucho a Hipólito al igual a Danilo y las demás personas que luchan en la política. En cuanto al ganador, deseo que sea la persona que más ayude el progreso de mi pueblo dominicano! Pero yo no utilizo mi música como plataforma para ningún candidato. Mi música la reservo para mis fans,” indicó Romeo en un comunicado publicado en su página web Romeosantosonline.com
